How stereotypes perpetuate themselves.
What was that MLK said about judging by the "Content of their character rather than the color of their skin"?

It used to be one of the most fun and affordable cruise lines. Looks to have gone to :poop: over the last few years. They have a severe identity issue and could go under if they loose families who do not want this on their vacations as many are already trying to get away from that.
 
This goes hand-in-hand with earlier stories about Carnival instituting "anti-black" rules. The rules are actually anti-bad behavior, but if you fully admit it is your own demographic that is the source of 100% of that bad behavior, well...
 
This got me thinking--from Carnival's website: Prohibited Items. Just about everything is... :rolleyes:

So what is security going to do when a cabin has a plume of ganja coming from it and other guests complain? Throw them off the boat? Non-swimmers seldom teach their children how to swim so they would probably sink like a rock. :devilish: But I wouldn't count on Carnival to do society a favor. :rolleyes: ;)

Occasionally the Hodge Twins come across my gootoob feed. They are mixed-race but look black. They routinely poke fun at these types of videos. :)

They have a jail on the ship and are not afraid to use it.
 
A year or two ago, I attended a friend's daughter's wedding... ceremony on a Carnival ship. The wedding party was cruising together, and Carnival was the only cruise line that allows non-cruising wedding guests to board and then de-board before the ship gets underway.

The wedding guests got to board before the general public. After the wedding ceremony was over and during the private reception party, the general passenger public began to board. And I'm tellin' ya.... It was a SCENE, man. Holy crap. You could not PAY me to go on a Carnival cruise. And this was just during the boarding of the ship! I'll just say it again.... "It was a scene, man!" And yes... those videos we're seeing lately are NOT the exception.

I used to be one of only a handful of white dudes at a totally black concert back when they made music. No more.
I would never attend any of those shows again. But, then most of the musicians are so old, they never tour.

It's not just a race thing. Those cheap cruises are magnets for the dregs of society. Shit bags that drink too much, were raised in a barn or a ghetto and don't know how to act in a public place. Like the losers from LA who drive to Las Vegas and don't book a room.

I have no sympathy for the cruise lines. They marketed to this crowd. You get what you ask for when you operate a floating Motel 6. What do they care. The crew has to suffer these morons. And they are mostly Filipino or Indonesian slaves.

Some of the really big ships with the water parks and all that circus. Who does this appeal to? It's a floating Six Flags. Is anybody really shocked the wife beaters with mullets along with their cousin/wife and examples of every other lowlife racial and social stereotype make up the majority of passengers?

The more dignified, luxury cruises like Holland America are full of geezers, creating a floating Petri dish full of old men who forget to wash their hands after wiping their ass. Then grab onto every railing in the gangways and the serving utensils at the buffet. Enjoy the e-coli!

I have never ever EVER wanted to go on a cruise. And I never will. Though, I would make an exception for a small expeditionary type small boat. My family did go on a river boat cruise in the Netherlands (passenger load was about 100). Very nice. Mostly it was just transportation from one town to the next (overnight).

But I'll never step foot on a traditional cruise ship. They couldn't pay me to do it. To me, it's the nightmare version of a "vacation." My worst nightmare. Nope. Never.

But hey... some people dig it. I have known many people who think it's a great way to go on vacation. But these are the same people who I imagine like HOAs, too. :)
 
I've done sailing charters a few times. Very relaxing. Very few passengers and you can volunteer to assist the crew if you want to be more involved or learn something about sailing.
 
My wife showed me a video of a guy taking a piss onto people below on a Carnival cruise ship. Drunk obviously.

If he pissed on me I would calmly assist him to the deck… and over the side.

The Hodge Twins post daily, they call this "Black Fatigue" whereas many other blacks are not only tired of the acts being committed but by it being a reflection on the black community as well.
I have wondered "how" or "why" they say the comments they say, but they are also tired of the behavior...
 
It's tough to be an upstanding black citizen who works, takes care of their family, and pays taxes. Many just assume you are violent and morally bankrupt.

Society has a long history of this stereotyping:

Italians are barbers, singers, or in the mob.
Polish are all dumb
Irish are all drunks
Indians all stink
English are all fags with bad teeth
Scots are so tight (cheap) that they squeak
Jews are obsessed with money

Same goes for gays who just want to mind their own business. I suspect if the trans mafia keeps up with violent behavior then there will be a target on the back of everyone who is gay.

Of all the gays I have met most don’t look any different than anyone else. It’s the peacock hair, nose ring, butt ugly ones that are wearing the targets at this point. There are plenty of right wing gays, some are conservative political commentators.

After living in Charlotte, NC for 3 years, I can verify that it's the 99% of blacks that make the 1% look bad.
