I like that he didn't have to shoot the intruder, but what if he comes back at some later date? :unsure: Plus, dead men can't hire lawyers... :devilish:

I doubt he'll be returning to that house. He just jumped into the nearest random house while on the run from cops. This guy was the unlucky homeowner who happened to be prepared. And the homeowner did the right thing.

Assuming that one is not suffering from a serious personality disorder, taking a life weighs heavy on the mind, even when totally justified and unavoidable.

The homeowner did exactly the right thing, IMHO. Shooting the guy would have made a terrible mess, too. It is really difficult to remove blood from some things, though I have learned a few secrets over the years. :sneaky:
