If I had that much money burning a hole in my pocket I think I’d invest in a classic American car.

Very close to what my first car looked like. Exception being the engine size and wheels. Mine was 283ci with chrome reverse. Would love to have one like that now.

Acid-etched, that pistol will rust if you even look at it sideways. ;) First thing I'd do is cerakote it pink... :D

PS: and don't forget the Cabot guns... They wanted a million for those so this one is a bargain at $50k...

So what are we looking at, rebel... :D You got a story for us? :)

I wasn't saying I'd never own any of the models of guns in the auction, just that I wouldn't be buying any of those that are in that particular auction... (ie: $$$)

No, no story to tell, just showing off something I’m proud to own. If there was a story it wasn’t passed down, unfortunately. My family resided in western Missouri at that time and from what I’ve read about local history skirmishes between locals and federal troops were brutal. In fact my hometown was destroyed with only a few chimneys left standing. I’m not really a rebel more like someone that would be caught in between.
I wouldn’t think of buying from an auction like that either. There are many interesting pieces for sure, but like I mentioned, and what I meant was that for the prices there I’d rather have a classic car. Just my opinion.
