A cousin just text me. 1 of their side of the faimly passed. Gun nut old guy. They found some boxesssss of stuff and need it ID'd. I stopped them after 3 pics. Either bring EVERYTHING by or Ill come to you. DONT GO MIXING UP THE BOXES!
Says there are dozens of boxes with no clue what goes where lmao

Ill be cleaning up my work area and labeling tonight.

Oh that poor old Colt. Could make a fun project though. Only other parts I can identify is the M1 carbine trigger group.

Came up as a 1965 Commercial Colt.
Hope all/ most of the parts are there. I have some stuff from that time, not much.
The finish is toast
Said there were some other stuff incomplete & sent me pics of Nazi stamps etc.
Who knows. It should be interesting.

That 1911 is certainly fixable. 0000 steel wool and WD-40 to clean the rust, slap it back together and test fire (it will). Cerekote it tan when done?

Bronze wool and Balistol for rust.

Not yet, they are getting everything together. Going through boxes etc. Still findings stuff.

They are Sino-Russian AK mags. 3 bumbs on each side of ass end of mag.

Other mag in red box Im almost positive is a Mini 14/30 magazine. Holes around top are good indicators

Cant really tell from pic on 1911 if ejector is broke or just factory short.
I got enough stuff from that time period laying IN BOXES to put it back factory.
Hoping its just bad surface rust and thats the bad side.
Think I have 14- 1911s and pretty sure I sold the 38 super or traded it??
I need another anything like I need more dogs.
Need to start selling off stuff, atleast get it down to 2 safes.
