From the "after" pictures I saw, they did NOT "absolutely level it."
We took out sections of it. But it looks repairable to me, considering the major supports were left intact. Certainly, if we wanted to LEVEL it, we would have (and could have easily) hit the two major support towers. So, why did we do it this way???
Trumpy has gone from my most favorite POTUS to about the middle of the pack and quickly dropping. No longer is he in the running for Best President Ever.
Fucking guy lies worse than Hitler did. I could handle the frequent embellishment as is/was his style, but lately he is outright lying about most everything. "ten tankers steaming out of the Strait" was pure bullshit and "we control the skies" and I could on and on. You'all can stand up for him and his cabinet and I wouldn't expect any less from you. But my libertarian feel on this war, and it IS a WAR, is that it could have been delayed until November or later--AFTER the upcoming election. I don't understand why they couldn't have waited.
Let the economy build back up, jail the fraudsters, deport the Illegals--things that we actually wanted and voted for. I gave ZERO fucks about 10s of 1000s of protestors killed in Tehran or whatever?--not my (our) problem... Bunch of back-desert goat-fucking mullahs controlling the country?--not my (our) problem... Israel having issues with Hamas?--not my (our) problem...Now, it is quite likely the Rs will lose the House AND Senate, and I fully expect the Dumpocraps to begin impeachment proceedings soon after they win. And THIS time, the charges may actually be legitimate.
Then the Dumpos will finish destroying the country when they win in 2028. Keep making/buying guns/ammo my Patriot brothers/sisters...Don't kid yourself that the war will be quick and easy.
Think Iraq x3! It WILL be going on in November and WILL affect elections negatively (for us). They claim to have knocked out air defenses but I'm sure there are millions of rocket-propelled grenade launchers and anti-materiel weapons still in existence. An RPG in every pot, if you will... Don't get me wrong, I'm not rooting for the Dumpos or Iran or anything like that, I'm just frustrated that no one in that cabinet meeting objected to attacking Iran or maybe they did and were just fluffed off?
I actually would have been fine with it in December, 2026 assuming election results were favorable. But there were absolutely ZERO scenarios where attacking Iran would not cause world-wide economic issues. Any 12yo Boy Scout could have told them that... This way we spend $10mil instead of only $2mil. Need to justify the TRILLION dollar defense budget somehow...

I'm not up on the reasons for impeachment other than diddling a little boy or something heinous like that. Definitely not the BS reasons they used in his first term. I would be willing to bet money that impeachment will be one of the first things that they do in the lame duck session and NOTHING worthy legislation-wise will be accomplished the last two years he is in office. I heard that there is a 60day time-limit on the current presidential action, then anything further would require congressional approval. Is there truth to this?
PS: don't forget Trumpy might have the opportunity to appoint one or two Supremes and with a Dumpo Senate, that will be impossible...

It's not MY reason. But the PRIMARY reason given by many sources, including the President is that Iran is hell-bent on producing nuclear weapons. They even admitted to having enough enriched uranium to produce 11 (I think) bombs. This has been reported WIDELY. You seriously didn't know that?
We cannot allow Iran to have a single gram of weapons-grade uranium. EVER. They have already demonstrated they have medium range missiles that could hit Europe. And they're developing long-range intercontinental capabilities.
They. CANNOT. Have. Nuclear. Weapons. And they have openly indicated they want them, are developing them, and WILL USE THEM.
We can't let that happen. No matter what it takes. And waiting is a REALLY BAD idea. It's even worse to openly admit that the reason for waiting would be for political leverage on the home front. Missile tests??? Are you kidding? They're way past testing. They've fired MANY missiles at neighboring countries and even at Diego Garcia.
I have to trust, to SOME degree, our Intelligence. There's a LOT of shit going on out there (around the world, not just the M.E). My own son, who cannot tell me what he's doing or where he is (but not in the M.E.) did tell me that what his group is doing is significant and making a BIG difference in the world (in a different theater).
Besides our own Intelligence (some public, some not), it's worth noting that the Iranians ADMITTED (recently in negotiations with Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff) that they have enough enriched uranium to make ~11 nuclear weapons.
Do you prefer to wait until they test-detonate a nuclear warhead? Do you prefer to wait until they strike someone else (or us) FIRST??? If that's your position, then I don't know what else to say. Actually, I do... but I won't. Actually, you DID suggest waiting until after the election. That's as crazy as the other hypothetical reasons.
I will submit that Iran is being run by an irrefutably EVIL and AMBITIOUS regime. They want us all dead, and they will go to any extreme to make it happen. The time to take them out was YEARS AGO. So any single minute of delay increases the risks to ALL of us. On that, I am 1000% confident.

I am quite certain that we (our military intel) have credible and SOLID intel about their nuclear development and capabilities. Yes! I heard late last night (on Fox News). I was thinking about him, because previous to that news, they said that there was a "race" between us and the Iranians to find him. They said the Iranians put a bounty on him, which meant they didn't have him, yet. And he's alive! And doing a great job of evasion!
So, that led me to think that he was evading capture. Those air crew go through SERE School. My son (not a pilot) recently went through SERE School before his deployment. For those who don't know, SERE = Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape. It is a VERY tough school in the military for personnel whose missions put them at risk for capture behind enemy lines.
Those who have gone through that training agree, "It's the best training I never want to do again."

That F-15 WSO (Weapons Systems Officer) survived and evaded capture for two days because of that SERE training.
That was GREAT news that we got him before the Iranians did.
