As for the "you can build one in 20min" myth, EVERYONE who has actually built one yelled "BULLSHIT!" at Dettlebitch on the TV...

I thought it was "60 Minutes" that did an interview with him but I didn't see him in it while scanning the following video. It must have been one of the other news programs. But this segment was equally propagandistic.

I'm sure someone here will remember and perhaps link to it. It had D'bitch's "assistant" having a hard time taking down a glockish gun.

I think you are talking about one of the vice network videos. I have seen it if so, but I mean you could with the right hardware build one i. that amount of time. Would it look presentable or perform as if you took your time hell no. But yea that rear section on a p80 is a mf but it can get took out relatively fast if you know what you’re doing. Am I saying a normal functioning gun can be built in 30 min well yep actually less. But it’s about doing a good job when you are doing it for a hobby it’s practically a never ending project, or is for me, and it becomes a personal thing. It has nothing to do with the actual use or doing anything crazy with a gun. It’s something to simply let your mind be free and enjoy something you are doing and cherish your own work . Half these people you see bragging and trying show their 30 min work off, if you will watch their videos and their forum posts they end up with bolt action glocks and are worried about adding a switch more than fixing their ftf or stove pipes. They can’t run a full mag through without at least 3 different kinds of malfunctions. In the meantime if their is a will their is a way and it will always be the case. Trying to mandate things like this is just kinda pathetic because there are things anyone with a little bit of creativity can do to evade restrictions and laws. I personally think everyone that hasn’t been condemned to death themselves has the right to have at their availability any form of defense deemed necessary in the event of crisis and it shall counter those who doesn’t have the mental capacity to be able to responsibly own and utilize that device. Restricting and laws makes the black market richer and the honest man have no access to the proper protection they deserve. I know myself I like to live in my own world and prefer be left alone and I’ll do what I need to do and have my own laws and rules I live by in cooperation for the most part with the gvt but yea I like everyone else knows the consequences and knows there are also consequences that come with being in compliance. This world just needs to let people be and people need to stay out of other peoples business. It’s a little pathetic the amount of corruption goes on and the same ones behind it are trying to hang their own family for a high they get from the power trip. I’m sorry I got a little off topic. I just have seen a lot first hand growing up in a family whos mother was secretary for one of this countries most corrupt circuit court judges. The average American has faith in a lot of things they would never believe how the reality of it is. We have such a great country with so many people fighting to defend what they believe to be a good cause but the people ordering them to do so are scandalous and don’t give two shits as long as it fulfills a personal obsession they have. Its crazy the amount of sick people in power we have right here in every branch and office of this great country. It’s certainly sad.
