It's not "AI." It's computers and robots. But yeah.... saw this coming several years ago. Saw it HAPPENING, actually, several years ago at a McDonalds. The entire drink operation was robotic.

Dumb headline. The main thing is no employees on prem. I’d like to try it. It’s got to be better than a regular McDonald’s. The service and quality they were known for years ago is long gone.
I’d rather buy a quality product from an impersonal robot than engage a pissy fast food worker who is hating life and could care less about your food or the overall experience.

But- is starting to sound alot like food replicators. The fact MCyDs doesnt rot they most likely recycle everything for tomorrow like on Star Trek.
So instead of 1 common core counting binary confused blue haired blob of crap getting pissy with the food stuffs back in the cooler. You will have 1 pissed off engineer tainting every store on his route.
Which if not already/will be PEOPLE.

There are actually food printers already in use. Mainly for confections and pastries. The most common are chocolate printers. I've read about potato and dough printers. If I had a catering business, I'd have several of them.
I was in a wine bar in the Outer Banks that was completely automated. You swipe your card and one of two dozen wine vending machines are at your service. The perfect pour. You can see the bottles in each machine so you know what you are drinking. There was one person there behind a fancy cheese and charcuterie bar. You still swipe your card and make a selection but a human cuts and plates it for you. The place was packed all day, all night.
If you buy the more expensive wine, the machine offers a discount on the cheese and cured meats. Awesome.

I have solar for the most essential services. Also a couple of 8000 watt dual fuel generators. If that happens I'll go to red and shoot anything that moves outside my houseWait until AI takes out the power grid!
I want more automation. If the SHTF and all of it stops working, I'll deal with it. In the meantime, I dont have to talk to some gender confused schmuck or schmuckette with blue hair and rings in their nostrils. The good news is all these freaks who have become the center of attention in recent times are going to end up helpless, starving and ultimately dead if the worst case... a man-made disaster actually occurs. Thermonuclear holocaust, a bioweapon plague, etc. The exception of course is a large chunk of the former planet Mongo destroying the Earth. If a large rock appears in the sky, I'm going to crack open a bottle of 40 year old Glenfiddich and wait for death.

Also buying foreign currency at any price and taking on massive debt. On the other hand, the massive inflation wiped out most people's debts. The government had to pass legislation to allow banks to recover a fraction of what was originally owed. Keynes wrote a book about the stupidity of wartime governments spending money they don't have and the economics of that shortly after WW1 ended.
In the future, there will be regions, but no national borders and no currency. The entire Earth and everyone in it will operate on a system of credits. This is where it's going. The globalists and central bank will get their way. Vincent Fox, former Mexican Presidente once revealed that the 100 year plan was for the US, Canada and Mexico to become one North American entity. He didnt make that up. It's the game plan and one of the many steps of the New World Order. We are about 50 years into that plan and will all be dead before it happens.

The Nile will still flow thru what was formerly called Egypt. And denial will persist in the minds of some. It doesn't matter if it does.
This has nothing to do with weather or climate. Or science. It is preordained and it will be the work of humans. Every advanced society for time immortal has had this goal. Technology, corruption and other limiting factors got in the way. Those constraints are fading. Except maybe corruption. But something else to consider is where corruption exists, it always eventually fails.
Something to consider is that there may be people among those who really call the shots on our planet to form world government as a means of getting the military industrial complex, which needs tyranny to survive, in check. Because they are running things now. That isn't Soros, or Bezos, or Gates, or any host of other billionaires. They are pawns too. In the end, they may realize they have been played more than us. Because of their giant egos. Science fiction, literature, the Bible and other religions believe there will be a showdown. Some say good vs. evil.
Think it wont happen? More like a wish it wont happen. Dont worry. We will all be dead long before.

Seems like a waste of time hiding in the basement worrying about something you have absolutely no control over. No matter what happens in the short term, I'm going to eat, drink, and be merry until my dirt nap.
I'm pretty sure that those who look back on the times we live in today will realize that politics and social media of that time had the same effect as lead pipes and water and wine vessels had on the Romans.

Thanks for making my point.... that almost always good triumphs over evil. It's a matter of will. And there will always be enough people with that kind of will. And that is why I do not agree with doomsday predictions.

(Never minding that the premise is quite literally impossible. We're the ONLY nation in the world with such a Constitution as its founding document. The notion that the rest of the world would suddenly embrace it is laughable.)

That’s not really true. The us constitution has influenced more political reform internationally than any other for two centuries.
Lots of countries have constitutions and a bill of rights. Many emulate ours. Some do that well, others not. Even here lawmakers and politicians try to ignore it.
Your crystal ball is different from mine. World government is already here. There isn’t going to be a fight. Unless the Corporations win. That is the true enemy of The People in my opinion.
Watch Rollerball again. Or Running Man. There’s always a shred of truth in those dystopian fantasies.
