I disagree with him that "they / we didn't know." YES. They knew, and we COULD have known (if we were willing to do a little research). I knew it was all lies, because I read the actual scientific literature. But they also knew that the vast majority of the public would accept their lies completely and blindly. Furthermore, they knew that the majority of the public are Useful Idiots who will HELP them perpetuate the lies and the narrative.
