I would have had to walk away from some very lucrative contracts if I didnt get the jab. So I did it. The other thing was my sister was dying and in a hospice facility. Without the shot, I would not have been allowed to see her. A couple of guys on my crew who were former military declined to get it. I was OK with that, but the client makes the rules. They had to roll off and find another gig someplace. I understood completely. They were all subcontractors, not bound contractually. As the business owner, I was. The clients weren't a bunch a hare-brains. They were business people who were required to comply with the government's mandates and guidance during that shit show.

At the time I didn't like it but looking back I realized what a scam it was. I dont think it was a vast conspiracy to kill off millions of people. I think it was a covert lab operation that fucked up and let this virus loose. The second act became a moneymaking scene to exploit that fuckup. The third and final act was the coverup of the first and second acts. And the parties responsible.

All true.... and wishful thinking. My bet is that there will be ZERO accountability. The excuse will be that their "intentions were good." Of course that's not true. They lied. It was MALfeasance.
 
I’m thankful I wasn’t still in the military. Not sure what my choice would have been. I can only imagine the pressure to get it or be ostracized equal to or worse than a sick bay commando.

For those that don’t know a sick bay commando goes to medical instead of sucking it up and carrying on.

Words matter. A lot. And that's why THEY use "anti-vax" to describe a person who refuses JUST the covid shot. It lumps them in with the group of anti-vaxxers (against ALL vaccines) that is generally regarded as "crazy." This isn't by accident. It's very intentional.

Before I sold them, I had 7 assault rifles: an 1873 Trapdoor .45-70, a 1903-A3 .30-06, and 5 Garand M-1s, one of which I built at the CMP's Advanced Maintenance Class. My dad and his older brother, who stormed beaches in WWII, both stated, unequivocally, that their M-1s were assault rifles and I suspect that many Indigenous people considered the Trapdoor Springfield an assault rifle. Any of the USMC who carried a 1903-A3 in WWII would have considered it an assault rifle. The AR-15 MSR is a semi-automatic rifle dressed up to look like an M-16 or M-4 assault rifle. Most of the shooters I encounter at public ranges with AR-15s have extensive experience with the M-16...in Call of Duty IV. Many do not understand how these rifles work.

I do not own any AR-15s.
