I wanted a pic rail mounted stock for a .22 rifle build I'm working on. Instead of just a PLA stock, or a bufferless AR stock, I decided to go with the AWCY MCX Alloy Slim stock. It's similar to the Sig stock (which is kinda pricey, IMO), and it turned out VERY well. I used Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 filament, and the metal reinforcement sides were done by sendcutsend.com. I had them do a stainless powder coat in matte black. They did a GREAT job, and this turned out so well I'm going to do a brace version for a 10/22 charger pistol. The metal sides make this a very solid and sturdy, yet thin, stock. I am printing a buttpad and a cheek rest for the stock. I'll end up with about $55 in this, the SB and Sig folding stock/brace that is pic mount runs $200-$250 if you can find them.
