Not related but a bat got into the garage from the laundry room. I saw something out of the corner of my eye then he/she dove on me. WTF! :eek: :D Got out the cheapie $2 net and caught it and released it outside... (y)

Put up a bat house in my yard last spring and have had no luck attracting them. They eat a lot of bugs. This thing wasnt cheap either. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

They have to be sized to the bat. Your bat house might be too big. 🤔

We took a tour of a Deland newspaper with the Scouts many years ago and happened to be there in the evening when the bats were leaving their houses. They literally poured out the bottom of them... :eek: :) LINK
 
@Bongo Lewi This is my second UF (University of Florida) link tonight. :) The university started in the 1800s as an agricultural college and they have tons of info on all manner of plants and animals. BATLINK

Awesome Thx. I'm going to read all of that. I may even call somebody there. Those bat houses are way bigger than mine. I wonder now If I bought the wrong kind of bat house.
