As you can see, I went wild with color and exotic cuts on the slides. I'm very creative that way.

I'm thinking my next act of wildness will be to upgrade the triggers. I believe there is no better investment in a handgun than an improved trigger. Timney works well with the Dagger and beside a shorter pull, short reset and cleaner break, it reduces the pull from around 5 lbs to 3.5.

After that, optics. Something affordable. These Daggers check all the boxes for being dependable but they are nothing fancy and not worthy of expensive optics. I may try that new Saturn brand I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Or maybe Viridian.

Since I have no urgent need for these guns I thought about putting them in a case together. A matched set. Kind of a spoof on dueling pistols. Not the wood box, velvet liner type. Something more tacticool, mall ninja-esque. Just for yuks.

Or... I could strap them on and go out in public to send a message to the world that I am a badass. Like this guy. Anybody know where I can source tactical jorts?

I picked up a few ammo cans and fitted them with some foam inserts from Amazon.

Also a couple Apache cases from my local Harbor Freight. The HF cases have pick apart foam to give a better fit.

I have bunch of Case Club pistol carriers. That stiff, closed cell foam is way better than that cubed crap that falls apart.

I was thinking a little different. Maybe an aluminum briefcase. Or something like that cerakoted to match the exciting bold colors of the pistols. I found a company that will water jet cut custom closed cell foam for you. You just send them the size of your container and a cardboard or paper template of your cutout.

I dont need Pelican style water resistant or airtight for this. Ammo cans arent a bad idea. But I'm leaning toward more of a briefcase style design vs a box. This idea is mainly for looking at. It will have no practical use. Something sort of John Wick-ish.

I've cut foam myself before but I never like the finish. It has to be absolutely perfect or every time I look at it - I'll hate it. OCD.

I didn’t really care too much for the cubed crap, as you call it. It doesn’t wear well. I had some of those aluminum cases in the past that I used for some of my video equipment and they had the cubed stuff too. They didn’t last very long. It was never a good enough fit for my stuff, and it got to be a mess. The cubes didn’t stay together for long. So now I’m going with .50 cal. ammo containers.

Maybe create a wall hanging where they fit into it like puzzle pieces? You see what I'm saying? :)

Supposedly, the Glock Performance Trigger drops right into the Dagger frame. No trimming needed but you need a Gen 5 back plate installed.

I believe it's still a 5 lb pull... right? I'm practiced enough and have the trigger discipline for a lighter trigger. 3-3.5 lbs. is my preference.

When I bought the Henry I posted here a couple of weeks back I saw the GPT with a $99 price tag on it. That seemed like a lot to me for a trigger that's only marginally better than the stock trigger.

Am I missing something? I have no hands -on experience with the GPT.

I have no experience with them. I vaguely recall reports that the pull is less than stock.

I thought about putting one in my Dagger but I would rather have $100 more ammo. I've seen them on sale in the $60-70 range. Not cutting the feet off is a big plus, they say they drop in because the floor of the trigger housing pocket is different than Gen 3 Glock.

I’m also going to replace the roll pin

1/8 inch.

Good call. Use a proper roll pin punch to start them out. A plastic frame is not a good place to use a roll pin unless you expect to never remove it.

I have 2 GPTs installed in Lone Wolf Gen3/4 frames. Bought 4 LWD connectors on sale for like $6 each. I didn't get them with the spring but that would appear to be the better deal at the moment. (ie: $20) The GPT was a drop-in in the LW frames and installing the LWD connector brought the GPT pull down from about 4.5lbs to around 3.25-3.5lbs. Yes, the GPT takes "regular" connectors.

I have a certain respect and admiration for the Glock trigger/ safety system. The simplicity is rare to see. I am more than willing to put up with the downsides.

A change to the GPT in a Dagger seems to be drop in mod. It was designed and tested by Glock. I would assume it was found to be as safe as the stock trigger by Glock .

I have read of troubles with the Timney in a Dagger. I don't care enough to go back find the bad reviews. It's too much to spend on a maybe, for me.

If I cant get down to 3 or 3.5 lbs I have no motivation to change the trigger at all. I could put in the GPT and a third party connector like @Bobster mentions. But then I'm over the price of the Timney, which is a complete kit.

I'll have to poke around on the Timney and Dagger commentaries before I decide and buy. It's got to work well because I'm doing it x4. Not just one pistol.

I did have a problem with a Timney trigger in a P80. I gave up after talking to their support and getting nowhere. They had zero interest in making it work for a P80. So put it in an OEM Glock 17. It fit and worked perfectly.

A little experimento.

8mm stainless steel pin replaces PSA Dagger roll pin.

I need to file down an end to make it about 1-2 mm shorter so it doesnt stick out.

I've settled on the CT RAD like this one for the four Daggers. Decent quality. Green dot, battery on top. I'm going with 3 MOA.
