They can ask you to leave and trespass you if you don't, but to carry a firearm onto a premesis with a "no-gun" sign does not have the force of law.

Nope. Why would I inconvenience myself?? I just ignore the signs. Actually, it's extremely rare that I see / notice any such signs. But if I do, I legally ignore them. They carry zero legal weight.
