… and I won't tell you no BUL.

Impressive trigger for a striker gun.

BUL is known for their quality 2011’s that stand up credibly as a Staccato alternative. They did a nice job on this striker/polymer model. Takes Glock mags. Shoots like a much bigger gun. I put 50 rounds thru it today and it ran like a champ. The trigger feels like a premium upgrade would on an OEM Glock or other clone. Not quite up to Johnny Glock performance but it’s in the ballpark.

The texturing is odd for a carry gun. More aggressive than I usually go for but I found it very comfortable the hand. BUL has a small presence in the USA and I have several of their handguns. I’ve talked to the same guy at their US HQ several times over the past 3-4 years about orders and various questions. They are in Miami.

There’s nothing cheap about any of BUL's handguns. I must say the build quality is very good. Their 2011’s are more affordable than the Staccato. The striker guns… you can definitely get something else that runs good for less money than the Axe. I’d say it’s on par with Shadow Systems… the definitive Gucci Glock. Prettier and more refined than the Austrian ugly duckling. But I like the BUL trigger better than the Shadow.

Is that an aluminum trigger? I had the previous Shadow Systems, the MR918 and couldn’t stand the trigger. It felt like it was flexing all over the place.

ETA: oops, I wasn’t supposed to axe questions.

The shoe and dingus appear to be alloy. The rest is steel. The Shadow DR920 trigger (also the compact) is fine with me. It’s definitely a longer pull than the Axe. Reset is about the same.
