I love Tater Salad!

My favorite Ron White story is the party on Dr Phil's yacht.

I used to work with a guy who was a master at telling funny stories like Ron White. Very similar personalities. Same Texas drawl. He sucked at his job but everybody loved him. One difference from Ron White was he didn't drink or curse at all. He was a foot washing Southern Baptist. I always wondered why he didnt become a preacher. He had the talent for it.

I saw Christopher Titus live many years ago. Great show. He's very intense.

A woman in the front row decided it would be a good idea to take a phone call during his set. She bent down low to take the call. Titus stopped his bit and walked over to the edge of the stage in front of her. She was absorbed in her call and was oblivious to what was happening. The audience went along with it and went silent.

He stood over her and glared. She suddenly felt a "disturbance in the force," and slowly raised her head to see him towering over her (from the raised stage). Her shoulders slumped, as she knew she was cooked. And the audience started chuckling.

Titus said... "Out you out of your fucking mind?!?? You're taking a call during my show??? WHO IS IT?!!??"

My mother.

"Give me the phone!"
He takes the phone.
"Hello? Yes... you're her mother? Well, I'm doing a show right now, so she can't talk to you. Good bye!"

He folds the phone and sticks up on top of the brick facade on the rear wall of the stage where it stayed for the rest of the show. The audience went nuts!
