Shots Fired at WH Correspondents Dinner

I saw video of a woman eating her food while standing (with everyone else) immediately after the incident. She was "scarfing" that grub down!
I saw another guest there (at a table up close and to the left side of the stage) SMILING while videotaping the whole thing. No shit.
Maybe like CNN in PA, they were hoping to film a hit. Sell the footage to the highest bidder?

Greg Kelly just showed stills of the guy "rushing" the checkpoint. The so called security was dismantling the magnometer at the time. What in the actual fucking fuck?

Trump is an absolute BADASS though, He told the secret service detail to take Katherine Levitt first, because she's about to have her baby, and then Melania as she was is distraught, and then wanted to walk out and they forced him to drop to the ground to go out.

It's funny that all these Libtards and Journalists have been crying about Fascism and a Police State, yet the biggest criticism I hear about the shooting was that security wasn't run like a Fascist Police State.
The network, a private entity, can shitcan anyone for any reason, including speech.
The Constitutional protections for Speech do not apply to private entities.
Where it gets dicey is when / if they do it at the BEHEST of the gov't. Then they are effectively an agent or arm of the gov't, and THEN Constitutional protections apply.
His joke wasn't that bad (or good), and I don't see it as any more of a call for violence against the President than Sarah Palin's "crosshairs" on a political map as a "call to violence."
People read too much into shit. A form of confirmation bias. Both sides do it, and I normally HAAAAATE when people say "both sides," especially when it's not true.

I think it's a mistake to go after Kimmel. Likewise for Comey. I don't think it reflects well on Trump. He really doesn't need to do any of this. I mean I DO "get it." I get the short-term satisfaction of retribution.
But, I believe all these efforts will not be successful, so it makes Trump look bad twice. First for starting it. And then again when he loses. Nothing is going to happen to these guys. NOTHING. So, they win... twice.

Yes, Comey and Kimmel knew EXACTLY what they were implying. But going after the little fish is a waste of time. I'd rather the administration go after someone far more deserving like Garland or Majerkass with an ultimate trip to the gallows for both of them. 
A little OT, but Tyrus brought up a good point on Gutfeld! the other night. I think Tom Shillue was hosting. The segment featured Rosie O'Dickhead ranting about something and Tyrus wisely suggested we stop giving them airtime by making fun of them. Nobody gives a shit about them so why give them exposure? And to this I agree...

Upon further review, it looks as if at least 1 Police officer got off 4 rounds and there seems to be some question as to whether or not he is the one who hit a secret service agent.
After watching the video I would not be surprised if he did and am more surprised that no one else was hit.

I saw that, too! Last night on Fox. As I watched it, I actually said, "Holy shit!"
His "back stop" was his fellow agents! I can't believe he didn't hit anyone else. MASSIVE GROSS negligence.
I'm conflicted about that.
In a normal situation, yes, his actions look negligent, but it didn't look like any civilians were present, and we all know that Secret Service is supposed to take a bullet for the President.
I know the officer who fired wasn't Secret Service, but are the rules of engagement different during something like this?
Is taking down a shooter at a Presidential event prioritized over public safety.

In any case, yeah... he was reckless, in my opinion. REALLY reckless.
Well, I was making an assumption also, because the back of his vest said POLICE, but then I wasn't thinking that he could have been a member of the Uniformed Division of the Secret Service.
