Video What do you think about this police officer disarm (and what followed)?

First she "gives" him the gun instead of shooting him in the dick/gut. Maybe there was not one in the pipe. Then all I can think is "STFU already, BITCH!" ;) Guy was obviously hopped up on something and he could have shot her if there WAS a round in the chamber. I did notice the magazine was on the ground... Avoidable shoot, just let the guy go, especially if he's going to make you run a half mile! I didn't realize a male going shirtless was a crime. Maybe if I went shirtless... :D

For starters, he got what he deserved and probably wanted to boot. Second, he should have taken several to the gut and groin when he was wresting the gun from her hands. And third, she should have never drawn her weapon because she obviously wasn't willing to, and didn't, use it. I was taught a long time ago at a very young age, you don't point a gun at anything you don't intend to kill. I think my father used the word 'destroy' because I was probably about 6 or 7, but the jist of the training was 'kill'.

No. And a lot of men arent either.

There are plenty of jobs in law enforcement for people who are not up to the physical challenge of being a patrol officer.

1. Mandate physical fitness. No more fat cops.
2. Pass a challenging physical test every year.

The same thing has happened in the military.

The guy grabs the cop's gun. He was either extremely lucky with how he grabbed it or he had some skills. He grabbed it in a way that pushes the slide back and takes it out of battery so it won't fire. She was probably pulling the trigger but nothing was happening. Next, the way he twists it out of her hand shows some training. There are techniques to get the gun back in battery but it requires training and practice. She did not make any such move that I saw. The guy should have never gotten close enough to grab it in the first place. She hesitated and almost paid the ultimate price.

I have no idea why he didn't shoot her. Maybe the striker dropped in the take away and he didn't know how to rack it to reset the striker. Trying to get away in her cop car was not a smart. Too much time spent and the other cop was close enough to stop the threat.
