Yikes. That's a major fuck-up.

The pilots are lucky that they didn't eject into the other aircraft or the other aircrew.... or land in the fire.

Classic case of aircraft above in a decent and can't see what's under him.
Aircraft below can't see what's above and behind him.
I'm thinking that somebody isn't going to be flying jets for the Navy anymore after this.
