More details coming out as to the cause of this bill. I saw this meme weeks ago. They're outright banning comedy when it comes to elections now. By the time this makes it to the Supreme Court, it will be 5-7 years, just like the bumpstock ban.
I guess Mel Blanc and Howdy Doody impersonating voices for comedy back in the day were ahead of the times.

That's exactly what they plan on doing and it won't be limited to California citizens whether you beat the Constitutional drum or jurisdictional boundaries of your state. You are broadcasting into California, so they will view you as breaking their laws in their jurisdiction. Just look at examples we have occuring right now. They're using the same model of other tyrants around the world, just like the Brazilian judge harassing Musk right now. Europe is also harassing Musk. You can hang your hat on the 1st Amendment and ignoring things out of principle, but that ain't gonna stop the lawfare. One has to look no further than Trump and Musk lawfare to know that it could happen to a them and attorney generals will jump across state lines to harass folks. We have lawless politicians that don't respect the Constitution. We are no longer a Constitutonal Republic unless you are willing to go to the mat fighting for it. Nobody respects laws. The only way to fight that is to also ignore the politicians in mass. But if you are targeted as an individual out of that mass, it is gonna cost you a lot of time, money and probably your freedom.

I don’t care about political BS here in CA. I live my life as I please. I like to skirt around the rules from time to time. I have a rooster that’s no legal here, funny that the police and animal control know I have him. They have taken video of him laughing at them (google - Ayem Ketawa). I’ve never been approached, contacted or given a ticket for this offense. Authorities don’t seem to want to be bothered. As long as I don’t show out, run my mouth or rile up any communist neighbors we are all good. No one is knocking down doors …yet. There are plenty of patriots in my area to socialize with. We all are on the same page and ignore the unconstitutional blather. There are plenty of people quietly standing their ground among the enemy. Shall not comply

Damn, is that what they're called. We had a rooster come roaming around here a few months back in April / May. Sounded just like this. Damn thing made our area it's home for about two months making that noise. We just let it roam free all over the place. Darn thing kept eyeing my garden. I don't know if they eat veggies, but he was looking. I have it fenced in and I kept eyeing him every time he came looking. They just wanna be friends though. I think he thought I would feed it. I didn't want it here permanently crowing up a storm waking me up, so I didn't. He got enough bugs and stuff around here. Chickens luv June bugs. We have some chickens in a coop here on the property. You have to keep them in the coop because it is very open country out here. Coyotes, foxes deer and whatnot all around. Sadly, I have found the heads ripped off of roosters and rabbits around here. Maybe owls or foxes did that trick, or could be coons. Life out in the sticks I guess. I don't know what happened to the rooster. He was up and gone one day. Never found any evidence of him being killed by wildlife, so I guees he roamed off to greener pastures and the neighbors a 1/2 mile away. Who knows?
