I'm going to this guy's place when the SHTF! The perfect life and retirement
package he has! And, I can't believe he's only seen one bear in 40 years!

The video didn't cover his firearms or protection in the video, but I
can't imagine he doesn't have a few tricks up his sleeve and on the ready.

Seems to be a Porsche guy too if you watch the video closely! Who
would of thunk!

I could so much live this way. I loathe going to the store and just did 9 hours
of errands yesterday thinking to myself, I hate going into the masses of log-jammed
idiot people wandering aimlessly and inconsiderately on the roads. My errands involved
picking up stuff to build shit and grabbing food.

I think I could envision @Michele panning for gold in that stream near the water wheel! LOL.

There’s a built in sluice box on is stream diversion for the water wheel.

Cool set up, but far from a "Grizzly Adams" off the grid style. Unless he's got a lot of parts and some manual tools stocked up, may not hold up long in a SHTF scenario.

Al, (the home owner/builder) commented on the Youtube video link further down the main page. You can find his thread and the responses searching for this comment:

He mentioned something about doing a video about the Mt Saint Helens eruption later.

He also has his own Youtube channel. It has one video on it at the moment:

I'm not a peoplely person myself. I hate going into Public. I'll be social/cordial/nice with people at work but God help them if they call me after hours. I think they have realized over time, once I leave work, don't call my phone. I'll likely hit ignore.

This forum, and 1 other online forum I'm on, is the extent of my social life.
